That is a tricky one. It might be possible to get you a replacement key for your RockyMounts BackStage # RKY10002. We would need to know the key number. This can be found usually on the key itself, or on the face of the lock core. RockyMounts key numbers usually start with the letter E, followed by 3 digits.

You will first need to make sure that the unit is not locked or partially locked. This would only affect the cables on one side of original Raceway 9001 bike rack. If it is not that side then there is likely a part of the mechanism that is broken so that the drum that holds the cable is not disengaged into freewheel mode (which is what happens when you pull the lever).

It sounds like you will have to insert the end of # A10-5025ED, rotate it to "lock" it into place, and then run the cable up and over the yellow plug and then route the cable down so that the weight is on the other side pulling the plug the opposite direction it would turn if the cable was hanging normally.

I have a solution for you, but I do not think getting a longer hitch pin is the answer. From the picture you provided, it looks like it is the S-hook of the safety cable that is getting behind your hitch pin and the pushing into the hitch lock side causing it to bend.
You can use the RoadMaster 8" Safety Cable Extensions # RM-910648-8 to extend the S-hooks further away from the hitch pin. You would feed one of the loops through the attachment hole on you hitch and then loop it back around... view full answer...
It sounds like there is problem with the storage latch on your tow bar. I recommend making sure all the nuts and bolts are tightened because if something has gotten loose over time then that could be the problem. If you think there is a problem with the latch itself we have replacements; # RMB001353.

I contacted Master Lock directly regarding the Master Lock Safe Space Portable Storage Box with Combination Lock # ML5900D . The first suggestion was that sometimes even when the correct combination is entered and the numbers are ever slightly offset, it can release the cable while not allowing the door open.

Since the combination has released the cable, I recommend carefully trying to pry the box open with your fingers or a screwdriver. While you're doing this try to go up and down a couple numbers on the dial from the combination you put in to get the cable to release. There is no code that I can give you to unlock it. The only default combination for the MasterLock part # ML5900D is 0-0-0-0. If you never changed the combo that's the only number I would be able to provide you. There likely is some corrosion inside that is causing the ToyLok such as # LC337120 to not retract the cable back inside the case. The great thing about ToyLoks is that they are very secure. So secure that it is difficult to get into them without damaging something. Unless you have the right driver bit for the secure hardware holding the case on, I recommend replacing it.

I reached out to my contact at Lippert and he said that you would pry it open at the seam but the problem is once it's been opened it will be that much easier for someone to break back into it so you'll be better off getting a while new unit, part # LC337120.
If you'd rather avoid going this route then we have the Fulton 15' Cable Lock # FCLK150100 that I recommend picking up. It doesn't have a retractable feature but it gives you as much cable as you were getting with the ToyLok. view full answer...

I spoke to my contact at Thule and she informed me that for you situation there isn't a fix for your rack # TH9001XT. It would have to be a warranty rack replacement. Since this has a lifetime warranty you should be covered just fine. You will want to contact where you bought this rack from and they will organize the replacement of the rack.

I do not see it among your purchased items but it sounds like you are also using Swagman's Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031. This lock is designed for use on your XTC2 rack. For a 2010 Ford F-150 and Tekonsha brake controller you should be using harness # 22292. The harness that comes with the brake controller is a generic one that is used for hardwiring applications.
The end of harness # 22292 that plugs into the truck should look like the picture I have included. If all of the wires on the harness you are using are on the same row then that is the harness for the Super Duty models and not the F-150.

Since you mentioned a battery, I assume you are talking about electric brakes. In that case, if you pulled the breakaway pin to replace the cable, and left it disconnected, it would only take about 10 to 15 minutes for your breakaway battery to fully drain since pulling the pin automatically applies the brakes and keeps them locked until the pin is replaced. If your brakes won't activate when the pin is pulled, try recharging your battery first.

If the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate part # VG-97-4000 will not unlock then you will need to remove the cover from the back, take off the prop rods from each side of the slide bar, and then turn the lock by hand.
